We decided to give swim team a try this year as Campbell is a great swimmer and fearless in the pool. She's already a better diver than me and possible her daddy ;-). She's on the developmental team this summer as we didn't want to commit to practice five days a week when we weren't sure if she would even like it. She has learned the freestyle and back stroke and is getting stronger every day. She participated in her first meet and Monday and did so great. She came in second in the freestyle for the six and under age group. And finished 4th in the 8 and under age group for backstroke. I was so impressed that she beat a little girl who looked to be about 7 or 8. She is a fierce competitor andwe were just so proud of her!
