Memorial Day Weekend was a lot of things but relaxing wasn't one of them. Campbell wrapped up her 4th year of dance and her second season of soccer. We had high hopes with dance this year as she opted to do dancenastics (which is a combo of jazz and gymnastics) however she told us pretty early in the fall that this would be her last year of dance. We encouraged her to finish the year and participate in her dance recital. She is really great at dance but her heart just isn't in it the way it's in sports. Our girl is uber competitive and is super athletic so I can't necessary blame her. Now she's probably going to have a hard time deciding which sports to play. So many sports so little time ;-)
This was the first year that Springdale participated in Upward Soccer and I think it was a huge success. Austin was a great coach and the kids had a great time. We would've gone undefeated if we hadn't gone to Costa Rica and missed a game, at least that's what Campbell said lol :-)
It's so fun to see how much the kids have improved since the beginning of the season.
