California Love

Austin had a work conference in Long Beach so Campbell and I decided we would make a trip out of it. We headed out on Valentine’s Day to meet up with Austin.

 

 

We were up Thursday bright and early (4:00 early) ready to hit up Disneyland and California Adventure. It was much smaller than I expected but was equally magical. We had the absolute best time. Austin skipped out on Disney on our October trip so I know he was glad to get his Disney dose.

 

 

Friday we spent the next day hanging around in Long Beach. We went to the aquarium and just hung around the city with no real plans. 

 

 

Saturday we were up and headed to Santa Monica. We just had to go to the Santa Monica Pier and ride the iconic roller coaster. We rode bikes along the Muscle Beach and had a truly magical day.

 

 

 

We were fortunate enough to be able to visit with the Jones family Saturday night. They opened up their home to us and we had the best time visiting with them. How gorgeous are the views from their house????

It was back to the East Coast on Sunday. It was Campbell’s first trip to the West Coast but it certainly won’t be her last!
