Cruising Through Spring Break

I knew this year for Spring Break we wanted to do a family vacation. The past couple years we have done adults only trip and I wanted to enjoy some uninterrupted family time. We got Campbell out of school early Friday and drove down to St Augustine. When I asked the people of Facebook where we should eat dinner the overwhelming response was that we had to try out Columbia’s. The people were right on and it did not disappoint.

We called it a night and were up bring and early heading to Port Canaveral. We cruised on the Norwegian Epic. We were on the boat early and ready to set sail. I started feeling weird whenever we left port and it wasn’t long before Campbell’s dreaded stomach bug from Thursday caught up with me. Wouldn't you know she got her first ever stomach bug Thursday night! Luckily it was fast moving and I was feeling somewhat better by Sunday.

Sunday & Monday were sea days and luckily by the time we arrive in Tortola I was feeling 100%.

We first hit up the beach before our excursion to the baths. We had a wonderful time and the British Virgin Islands were absolutely breathtaking.

Wednesday we woke up in beautiful St Thomas. I jokingly texted Mama and told her to send Marley because we would not be coming home! On this particular day we went snorkeling. Campbell had a wonderful time exploring the shipwreck. I enjoyed watching her snorkel as we rarely saw her face ha!

Thursday was another day at sea. Friday we arrived at Norwegian’s private island in the Bahamas. I was so disappointed we were not able to swim with the pigs. Austin and Campbell thought I was crazy but apparently there were 100 people in front of us on the waiting list. I will definitely be doing this next time we visit the Bahamas. Saturday morning we were up bright and early and disembarking. We had a wonderful time and made some great memories. I love traveling and I hope that Campbell does too.
