You are 16 months old today! I feel like you are growing taller every day and your legs seem to have slimmed down much to my dismay. Honestly is there anything more adorable than chunky baby thighs!?
Your vocabulary is rapidly expanding and you even say three word sentences at this point. Usually "help me please" or "hold me please". It warms my heart that you say please. I hope you are always so polite and well mannered.
You have recently started helping out around the house. You like to help to help unload the dishwasher and like to throw things away in the trash can. You also like to point out to us whenever there is a "bug" on the floor. Usually the bug is a piece of trash or even a raisin but you definitely like things to be tidy. I left a hanger on the floor in your bedroom and you picked it up and hung it back in the closet because that's where in belongs. I think you'll be a little OCD about having a clean house like your mommy.
You have also taken a great interest in the bible and even say bible and church these days. I am glad to know we are raising you right! Gigi bought you a Christian story book which you absolutely adore and a Noah's ark to go with it.
You have turned into a little climber so we definitely have to keep a close eye on you. After numerous episodes of you falling down and holding your breath until you pass out we seem to have corrected that with a little help from our pediatrician. Talk about a scary moment when your lips turned blue!
You love the bird feeders your Daddy hung outside of your bedroom window. You love to sit on top of your toy box and watch your birds eat the birdseed you put out for them.
You have named your paci "pap". We are only giving you your pap at nap time and bed time these days. You started sitting on the potty and say potty, tee tee, and poop. You have started skipping which may be the cutest thing I have ever seen. You still love going to Ms. Carla's. You have do much fun playing with her, Brady, and Skylar.
You know who Santa Claus is now and when you & Daddy went to Carolina pottery to get supplies for your bird feeder you said "ho ho ho" when you walked past Santa.
You are wearing 12 month clothes. I put a pair of 9 month pants on you the other day and couldn't believe they still fit. You are still a great eater, though you have been more of a grazer recently like your mama. You usually want to eat whatever mommy is eating. You love your pop (Popsicles) and usually ask me for one at least once a day. You told Gigi this morning that you wanted cereal to eat for breakfast. You ate sleeping a lot here recently. I think you are going through a growth spurt and that's hard work!
You are such a sweet baby and we thank God for you each and every day.

You have another tooth. That makes a total of 7. You also peed peed in the potty tonight without being prompted. I am so proud!
