I say the same thing every year but honestly how is it possible you are four?! This past year has zoomed by and we have loved every minute of it. You are an absolute joy and have a heart of gold. You keep us laughing and have a flair for performing. You have already asked when you will be big enough to be in a play. You have a memory unlike no other and love to say remember that time..... You are such an old soul and speak like a grown up. With sayings such as "speaking of....."
You love princesses, barbies, stuffed animals, dance, school, church, playing with friends. You are so kind and hate to see anyone upset. Your preschool teacher says that you are the smartest and most well behaved in your class. Your Sunday School teacher says that you keep up with the five year olds without missing a beat. We don't tell you that because we always want you to do your very best and try your hardest. You are smart and consistently amaze me with all that you know. You are wise beyond your years no doubt. You are always asking me how to spell words and to define works. You are very interested in Spanish and ask me how to say things in Spanish. You even ask to watch Disney junior shows in Spanish from time to time.
You love your family especially your grandparents and I'm pretty certain the feeling is mutual. You are a mama's girl through and through and love to tease your Daddy about your love for the Gamecocks. I like to remind you that you don't have to like the same things as your mommy but I enjoy you wanting to be like me.
You are very into fashion and have a serious distaste for ruffled pants and blue jeans. You have opinions about what you wear and like to pick out your own clothes. Your favorite foods are chocolate milk, lucky charms, pancakes, chicken nuggets, blueberries, yogurt, apples and string cheese. You have me wrapped around your finger and can pretty much get away with anything.
You still love your puppy and sleep with him every night. Your favorites shows are Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, The Octonauts, and Sheriff Callie. You can write your first name and are practicing writing your last name. I should have considered how many letters your name would be when naming you, ha. You can recognize all letters, write them, and know the sound they make. I'm not even certain how high you can count, high enough for sure.
Our children's director at church and preschool talks about how much you love Jesus and how you know the importance of Jesus dying on the cross for us and our sins. Nothing makes me feel more proud to be your mommy when I hear you talk or sing about Jesus. I hope you are always strong in your faith.
