We were up Saturday morning and ready to conquer Atlanta. We
had big plans to grab breakfast at Atlanta Breakfast Club. Unfortunately the wait
was ridiculous so we went ahead and made our way over to World of Coke.
Campbell was over the moon. We never let her drink sodas other than an occasional
Sprite but she was over the moon to try all of the Cokes from all over the
world. I’m guessing this was the highlight of the day for her.
We headed to Legal Sea Food for lunch, took what was
supposed to be a pit stop at the arcade which it took way too long to spend
$30.
Next stop was the college football hall of fame. I think
that this was probably the highlight of Austin’s trip. Campbell loved doing
College Game Day broadcast and running routes.
We headed back to the hotel to freshen up and made our way
to SunTrust Park. We thought we arrived early enough to see batting practice
but upon arrival realized the Braves were not taking batting practice on that
particular day. Fortunately for us they had lots of fun activities that were
right up Campbell’s ally. She was able zip line, climb the rock wall, hit in
the batting cage, and show off her pitching skills. We grabbed some dinner,
watched a bit of the game, let Campbell pick out a souvenir and decided it to
call it a night.
We were up bright and early Sunday ready to head home. We
had talked about stopping by Top Golf but Campbell was ready to get home. We
learned once again this trip that Campbell is not a fan of traffic and any city
that has traffic is not her favorite ha. Thanks Atlanta for the awesome
weekend!
