We found out Wednesday that we are expecting a baby girl and couldn't be more excited. Of course we would've been thrilled either way! She is measuring 11 ounces and residing low pretty much on my bladder which I of course knew before our appointment. She was resting in the fetal position and the ultrasound tech had to do some poking around to get the measurements she needed. She has a heartbeat of 148. Weight gain, blood pressure and everything is right where it should be. I go back to the doctor on December 27th for my glucose test which I am dreading of course. I found out what we wouldn't be having another ultrasound unless there is a problem or if the doctor has a question about something. One of Austin's colleagues has generously offered to give us a 4D ultrasound as his baby present as his neighbor in Charlotte owns one of these businesses. I am not sure the best time to do this probably somewhere around 28 weeks I am guessing.
Oh and we have decided on a name for a sweet angel, Campbell Grace Childers. And Miss Campbell already has her daddy wrapped around her tiny finger. Austin got up bright and early this morning specifically around 4:00am to head out to Babies R Us to get our baby furniture ordered. The store opened at 5:00 and Austin said he was back home by 5:30 so mission accomplished. He was the fifth person in line with the doors open and the second person to check out. I am watching Austin put the glider together as we speak and the rest of our furniture will be here in 7-14 business days. I think I have picked out Miss Campbell's bedding and will likely venture out later today to make that purchase. Can you tell we are excited and I am anxious to get as much done as possible?!?!
