Weekend Rewind

This past weekend was jam packed of fun and firsts for our sweet girl. Campbell has been reading all of her Halloween books with her favorite being Elmo's spooky sleep out. She got the idea that she wanted to sleep outside in a tent with her daddy. And she wouldn't forget it so she officially had her first spooky sleep out in the backyard with her daddy. She slept so great we make let her sleep outside fulltime ;-) Austin said she was asleep by 8:30 and she didn't wake up until 7:30. She had the absolute best time with her daddy.

Saturday we were up bright and early heading out to Campbell's first football game. I loved watching her face as she watched the band, heard 2001, seeing cocky appear, and of course our football players. I think her favorite part was the fireworks and of course seeing her favorite little guy.

We ended the day with some quality BFF time.

Sunday we headed out to the fair. We ran into one of our school friends which was a pleasant surprise and also Jeff and Emmie met us there.

Apparently this sweet pea was exhausted after a fun filled weekend because she fell asleep in the car which rarely happens. We rounded out our weekend of fun by hanging with our favorite pup.

I love fall weekends and loved spending time with my favorite people.

Xoxoxo,

Leslie

Atlanta Girl Weekend 2014

Last weekend Campbell, Mama, and I set out to have a girls weekend in Atlanta. I bought frozen tickets back in June and Austin was going to be on a fishing trip so we decided to make a weekend of it. We left out Friday at lunch and headed to visit our friends the Goldstone's. Campbell had never met Ashtyn or Landon but of course she had a great time and it was so nice catching up with Jesse and Melissa.

We made a stop by mall of Georgia to do a little Christmas shopping then headed to one of favorite restaurants in Atlanta Johnny corino's.

Saturday we were up early and heading to breakfast at the flying biscuit. Naturally Campbell ordered pancakes and to say she's a fan would be an understatement.

Next we headed over to frozen. Of course in addition to frozen there was about 10 different other events going on so traffic was bananas but we made it to our seats just in time.

And of course we have to have a special treat to round out our frozen adventure. Campbell had the best time singing along, I had the best time watching her precious face. After frozen on ice we headed to the Georgia aquarium. It was awesome! We never went when we lived in Atlanta but this definitely won't be our last visit.

Does she not look grown!?
My love

While we had a great weekend I think it's safe to say we were exhausted. Campbell napped for a solid two hours Sunday before we picked Austin up from the airport. While we enjoyed a girls weekend we were certainly glad to have daddy home.

Xoxo,

Leslie

Campbell's Half Birthday

How is it possible that my sweet girl is three and a half? We celebrated in true Campbell fashion with a double chocolate cupcake. We are also heading to Atlanta this weekend for a girls weekend to celebrate little miss. We are going to Frozen on ice and the aquarium which are both surprises to Campbell. Here's a little trip down memory lane for half birthdays past and of course a few pictures from today of course.

Sweet girl we thank god for you each and every day. I love you more and more and I'm so amazed by your kind heart. You are my sweet, snuggly, comedian, outgoing, kind hearted angel and we are so blessed you are ours. Here's wishing you the happiest of half birthdays.

Xoxo,

Mama
