October

Y’all October was insanity. I don’t even know where the month went. I do know that we spent most of our days & nights at the soccer and softball fields. It’s been a bit overwhelming this fall as not only is Campbell playing two sports but she’s playing on three teams (two soccer teams). So while one of her teams may have had a weekend off the other didn’t and vice versa. It will be same way in the spring so we are just getting by. She loves it and she is excelling both soccer and softball and that’s what it’s about. She has really learned a lot during this softball season and seems to enjoy it.

We also celebrated Campbell’s half birthday. I love that this is something that excites her and I can’t believe my best girl is 7 and a half. I bought her a new Carolina jersey for her half birthday at her request and a cupcake of course.

When weren’t at the ball fields I was knee deep working on Mama’s surprise party for her 60th birthday. It’s been kind of an interesting year as far as her health goes so we are just glad she seems to be doing well. We were able to pull off the surprise and the hardest surprise to keep from her and Campbell was our trip to NYC for Thanksgiving. I absolutely adore this video and it just makes me so happy.

We did manage to squeeze in a lunch date, playdates, a trip to the fair, a sleepover, and Halloween fun. I was even able to sneak away for a football game and put Daddy on soccer mom duty. It was a fun but busy month.

Weekend Rewind

This past weekend was jam packed of fun and firsts for our sweet girl. Campbell has been reading all of her Halloween books with her favorite being Elmo's spooky sleep out. She got the idea that she wanted to sleep outside in a tent with her daddy. And she wouldn't forget it so she officially had her first spooky sleep out in the backyard with her daddy. She slept so great we make let her sleep outside fulltime ;-) Austin said she was asleep by 8:30 and she didn't wake up until 7:30. She had the absolute best time with her daddy.

Saturday we were up bright and early heading out to Campbell's first football game. I loved watching her face as she watched the band, heard 2001, seeing cocky appear, and of course our football players. I think her favorite part was the fireworks and of course seeing her favorite little guy.

We ended the day with some quality BFF time.

Sunday we headed out to the fair. We ran into one of our school friends which was a pleasant surprise and also Jeff and Emmie met us there.

Apparently this sweet pea was exhausted after a fun filled weekend because she fell asleep in the car which rarely happens. We rounded out our weekend of fun by hanging with our favorite pup.

I love fall weekends and loved spending time with my favorite people.

Xoxoxo,

Leslie
