October

Y’all October was insanity. I don’t even know where the month went. I do know that we spent most of our days & nights at the soccer and softball fields. It’s been a bit overwhelming this fall as not only is Campbell playing two sports but she’s playing on three teams (two soccer teams). So while one of her teams may have had a weekend off the other didn’t and vice versa. It will be same way in the spring so we are just getting by. She loves it and she is excelling both soccer and softball and that’s what it’s about. She has really learned a lot during this softball season and seems to enjoy it.

We also celebrated Campbell’s half birthday. I love that this is something that excites her and I can’t believe my best girl is 7 and a half. I bought her a new Carolina jersey for her half birthday at her request and a cupcake of course.

When weren’t at the ball fields I was knee deep working on Mama’s surprise party for her 60th birthday. It’s been kind of an interesting year as far as her health goes so we are just glad she seems to be doing well. We were able to pull off the surprise and the hardest surprise to keep from her and Campbell was our trip to NYC for Thanksgiving. I absolutely adore this video and it just makes me so happy.

We did manage to squeeze in a lunch date, playdates, a trip to the fair, a sleepover, and Halloween fun. I was even able to sneak away for a football game and put Daddy on soccer mom duty. It was a fun but busy month.

Happy Halloween

Campbell decided for this Halloween she wanted to be her favorite Disney Princess which happened to be Belle this year. She also requested that I dress as Ariel and her Daddy dress as the Beast. Luckily she seemed pleased to be the only one who dressed for the occasion. We definitely got our money's worth out of her costume this year. She had a party at dance class, Boo at the Zoo with the Wall family, a school party and of course trunk or treat. Our girl loves her candy, just like her Mommy. Here are a few pictures from our many Halloween adventures!

I also have to brag any chance I get on my sweet princess. Campbell is now wearing big girl panties at night. She is growing up so fast! She is also the sweetest most genuine person I know. She leaned over and gave me a kiss last week and said Mommy I love you with my whole heart. I think I melted a little. My girl definitely knows my love language is words of affirmation. Time please slow down.

XOXO,
Leslie
